I want you to ask yourself this:
How many entrepreneurs do you know who are not highly ambitious and who don’t want to succeed?
I can guarantee that you would struggle to answer that question and struggle to name an ‘unambitious’ entrepreneur.
However, in my opinion, there is one key ingredient that every entrepreneur needs to excel, to maximise their potential and say “adios” to those pesky mind goblins – and that’s a coach!
Entrepreneurs are a rare breed and I passionately believe that as individuals we are all capable of achieving anything we set our minds to.
However, the difference between an entrepreneur and the girl next door, is that entrepreneurs have actually taken the leap, stepped into the unknown and taken action.
Now don’t get me wrong, every entrepreneur is different. We all have our own unique strengths and areas for development
But one thing we do all have in common is the ability to exponentially succeed.
When I first started my entrepreneurial journey, despite having a twelve-year career in the education sector, I did what every new entrepreneur would do.
I conducted my research, built my network and even designed a dodgy looking logo in an attempt to keep costs down.
But there was something missing.
Something I didn’t realise would have a monumental impact on me as an entrepreneur but also me as a person.
I forgot to develop myself whilst simultaneously developing my business.
A mistake which is often made by entrepreneurs and professionals, but a rookie mistake made by me despite my years of personal development.
So, I want you to ask yourself a pivotal question: are you working on you?
When people often think of coaching or any other form of personal development, they tend to not realise how accessible and affordable it is.
I too believed that I didn’t have the time to commit to receiving coaching and didn’t realise that coaching was so accessible due to technological advancements online.
So here I am, excited to clear up some misconceptions and also share with you my top three ways entrepreneurs can benefit from online coaching.
1) Flexibility + Accessibility = Valuable Time Saver
As an entrepreneur you have this ambitious fire within you to do more, be more, thrive more.
However, time is often not on our side and we need to find ways to use our time efficiently.
Online coaching provides you with the opportunities to receive transformational and impactful coaching from wherever and whenever.
The flexibility and accessibility of online coaching is a highly desirable motivator for many entrepreneurs.
It means that we can continuously work on achieving our goals, improving our mindset and working towards living a life of abundance.
With the ability to receive coaching online, whilst minimising disruptions to your day to day life, this is a huge advantage for many entrepreneurs and one you should consider too (if you haven’t done so already).
2) Invest in you
Ok, let’s get real for a second.
We often hear other online entrepreneurs promoting that you can’t put a price tag on your own happiness, security and success or the other clichés which tell you that you have to spend money to make money.
To an extent, I do agree.
However, as entrepreneurs we do have to be wise when we invest in our business and in ourselves.
Its important for us to assess what we choose to invest in and look at the impact that we want it to have, otherwise what is the point?
The great thing about online coaching is that it is more affordable than in-person coaching which makes it more obtainable for entrepreneurs looking to invest in their own development.
It’s important to take a step back and assess whether you are investing in yourself enough and if not, it’s never too late.
3) It’s ok to ‘let it go’ and talk
From the subheading, you can clearly tell that I am a mum of a ‘threenager’ and have been watching way too many Disney films, but it’s true.
It’s time to ‘let it go’ and just talk.
Talking to a non-judgemental, qualified and experienced coach will be one of the best decisions you make in your business.
Even as a coach, I too have invested in one myself.
It’s refreshing to have someone who gives me the space, time and freedom to release my inner and deepest thoughts.
Often, when we ponder over something or have unreleased thoughts, we tend to either not take action on things we know we should take action on, or we overthink and overanalyse situations.
In some cases, unreleased thoughts can also create anxieties and fears within us which have purely manifested within our own personal thought cycles.
So, it’s time to unlock those thoughts, freely release them and create new and empowering ones.
Be rest assured that there are way more than three benefits of online coaching but if I were to share them with you now, I’d be here all day.
If and when you find that one coach who can truly transform your outlook and perceptions on life and business to excel you beyond what you thought was only imaginable, you’ll most certainly get your return on investment.
But that’s down to you.
As coaches, we can’t take the action for our clients but we can coach them in taken the action themselves.
