Holistic Wellness & Therapeutic Sound Coach

Who Do I Help?

I empower women to call back the missing pieces of themselves through spiritually guided practices so that they can live a full life, in complete congruence with all they are, all they have been & all they are yet to become.

About Me

Bee in The Lotus was created in response to a very personal journey…
Around 2013, I found myself unexpectedly having to face resurfaced traumas from the past. It was during this time that my awareness of the intrinsic link between mind, body and spirit became more apparent than ever to me… and so did the need to treat them as a whole.

With this arose a need in me to learn techniques and to find teachers, tools and methods to assist along the way. I rediscovered yoga and meditation, and I began to use my voice through singing and chanting. At the same time, I found some amazingly positive influences in authors, who spoke directly to a part of me that nothing else had before.

In 2019 I attained Kirtan Leader Certification with the renowned Western-style Kirtan Leader – Nikki Slade. Kirtan is the Yoga of the Voice or Bhakti Yoga as it is often known. Attending retreats and groups, I discovered the power when women gathered. I now facilitate Kirtan chanting groups & Women’s Circles and use Kirtan as part of my workshops and as a stand-alone meditation offering.

After my Kirtan Training and through my personal discoveries within the realms of sound, I decided to undertake qualifications in Therapeutic Sound Healing with the Sound Healing Academy.

I’ve always been hugely drawn towards a holistic approach to wellbeing & skincare and have intuitively worked in this way for some time. I love essential oils and their positive effects & benefits.

As a Skin Therapist, I found that my clients’ needs often exceed that of just a ‘hands-on’ skin treatment, with many people opening up about some of the challenges they face in their lives and spending as much time talking as they do on the couch.

Often, stress and emotional wounds are held deep within the mind and body. If we are unable to process these, it can show up in the skin, which in turn affects our emotions and self-esteem.

In an article by Eleanor Vousden for Professional Beauty Magazine she cited a study by the British Journal of Dermatology that showed acne sufferers to be more likely to develop depression in the first year of being diagnosed. In the same article Neuroscientist, Dr Claudia Aguirre tells us that “feelings of emotional distress lead to the release of the stress hormone cortisol, which is known to affect the immune system (making the skin less able to defend itself), drive allergic responses, delay healing and disrupt the skin’s natural barrier”. Skin issues almost always go hand in hand with mental health.

In response to this growing need, I felt called to train as a Coach – this journey opened up so many possibilities for me, and I know it will for you too. Coaching is working with the subconscious mind, unearthing trauma, beliefs & anything else that is holding you back, it works to break down your internal barrier & get you to where you want to be.
As a coach, I am a facilitator of change, growth & progression. I assist you in shining a light on your personal & professional blind spots, to effect & create huge positive shifts that will change your life forever.
My specialism is a Holistic Wellness & Therapeutic Sound Coaching…
The majority of my work is around empowering women to call back the missing pieces of themselves through spiritually guided practices so that they can live a full life, in complete congruence with all they are, all they have been & all they are yet to become.
Whilst my specialism is working predominantly with women using tools I have found to be invaluable on my own journey, I am happy to work outside of this too.

These offerings are my response to an industry that focuses on self-loathing, self-hatred and struggling with who we are, rather than accepting ourselves with the same love and kindness we extend to those around us. I believe It starts with you – it always has…

I believe that beauty is literally only skin deep and true beauty should always be about self-love, self-care and self-acceptance!

I strive to ensure my clients receive the most heart-lead intuitive experiences with the best therapeutic results, whatever that might look like for them, so they are left feeling renewed, refreshed & ready to take on the challenges they might come up against.

I’m so proud to be able to share some of these, soul-soothing, body & mind freeing offerings with you soon.

I look forward to being of service to you…
