Medical Doctor (GP) supporting New Parents in the newborn period and beyond
I help new Parents through the steep learning curve of the newborn and beyond. I focus on finding our new identity as a Mother/Parent, maintaining balance and dealing with the new levels of anxiety that often appear.
I qualified as a Doctor over 10 years ago and thought that all those years of long hours and night shifts would put me in good stead with having a baby. I was a high-flyer: how hard could it possibly be?!

From day one I struggled and, too proud to reach out for help, ended up becoming more and more miserable and anxious as the other new Mums around me seemed to bloom. Working on managing my anxiety, my mindset and my new identity eventually got me back on track.
