Mindful Mindset Coaching for Individuals and Couples

Who Do I Help?

I help high achieving, overthinking men and women going through life transitions to master their minds and achieve their goals.

About Me

I coach people who are in transition; marriage and relationship, divorce, parenting, health, career, day to day life changes or a different kind of change in life paths.

I’ve had plenty of change in my own life.

Here are some examples:

My first experience with loss and grief was when the first boy I loved moved across the world, never to be seen again. Then again when I divorced and again when my mother died.

Isolation and shame reared their ugly heads when I left home for college and failed out. As it always does, this led to changing schools and finding my life passion and purpose which also included the all-important straight-A report card! Can you say Performance Anxiety?

Then came the marriage, children, infidelity and divorce. A shit storm of emotion with this phase of my life, everything from love, joy, shame, isolation and fear. I was spinning in all of it. The remarriage, step-parent, blended family of his-mine and ours was next.

I am still in awe that we just celebrated 19 years of marriage and we have all our limbs intact. (me, hubby and the kids)! With this life phase came joy, fear, overwhelm and a great sense of accomplishment.

Then we have to parent an addict part which is a never-ending cycle of grief, loss, pain, joy, love, shame and guilt. All this while getting an MSW and an MBA while holding down a full-time job and a family (kick-ass courage mixed with a little crazy).

Through it I found tenacity, boldness, courage and pride while trying to start my own business, failing over and over until I found success in what I love.

Continuous personal growth as a lifelong learner, I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and Level 2 Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.

None of these transitions was easy. Each of them was completely necessary for me to become me I am today.

The way I experienced them led me to purposefully create the life I enjoy now with intention.

MY COACHING

Change is inevitable, and it can be scary.

And it is always possible for us to use the transition to create experiences that would deepen the meaning of our lives.

I coach people to do exactly that.

I love to work with people who are:

in the middle of navigating a life change

vulnerable and brave

spiritually curious

honest about where they are and their desires

curious and passionate about many things

have the tendency to overthink

I don’t work with people who:

just want someone to agree that their situation is hopeless

want a quick fix

Shit happens.

And I want you to know that all change is figure-out-able.

Everything can be navigated with the right experience, tools and resilience.

Don’t give up.

I will show you how to live with lighthearted resilience and a sense of curiosity about how you can re-shape your life for the better.

Testimonials

“I have been working with Sheila for a year now and she has been a lifesaver. She has helped me work through so many things during this hectic period in my life. Being a mom, wife and full-time teacher, I was overwhelmed. I have struggled to balance everything in my life! Sheila has been crucial in my progress toward truly becoming who I want to be. the strategies she has given me have helped my relationships with my children and my husband and have allowed me to break away from “mom guilt” as well as “partner guilt” and I now embody the mindset of caring for myself helps all those around me. I do not put myself or my needs last and I am a better person for it. I will always be working toward personal growth and am SO thankful to have Sheila be part of my “village”!!
